Biodiesel is made through a chemical process called transesterification, where vegetable oils are split into two parts: alkyl esters and glycerine; the esters are the fuel, while the leftover glycerine is often used for beauty products [5].

 

We use the esters in biofuel gas stations. There are 200 biofuel gas stations around the U.S and this number is expected to increase. To find a gas station near you, [11]
